Lady A with a twist
As I stated Friday (and will through Thursday) I was stupidly without my glasses so I was really struggling with seeing the drawing. No fine linework, that's for sure. Very, very frustrating. Lesson learned, believe me.

Gestures of Miss A
I forgot to pack my glasses last night so drawing was a bit of a challenge last night. Even the gestures felt different as I couldn't focus real well. Heh, I think it forced me to ignore the details in favor of shadows and shapes.

First canvas drawing
I've posted my witch drawing and the raven drawing so I may as well post the first one I did on canvas. I enjoyed this one a lot and it came out much better than I thought it would.

Into the archives
I wasn't able to make the session last night so I'll pull out some of the drawings from older evenings. This is one of Lady J.

Last pic of the night
Her features are just too much fun to ignore. Spent almost the whole session just drawing Adrianna's face.

Start... stop... restart
The model moved significantly from where I was starting. I know this happens but it usually isn't so significant that I can't use my initial marks. Just wanted to show the start and then where I finished . I really prefer the initial pose and I became fairly frustrated and I think it shows in the sketch. A couple of the other artists liked what I ended up with but it just doesn't appeal to me.

Gestures of Adrianna
I spent most of the evening drawing our model's face. These represent the majority of the actual figure sketches.

Fun
This was my favorite sketch. I like the rough nature of the technique and the elongated pose Adrianna took. Very organic drawing for me.
