Lottsa ink

 Ashleigh has quite a selection of tattoos and I took the opportunity to add them to this long pose.  I should have spent more time on her face, however.

 This one is sitting on my easel just begging to be worked on.  I have really only spotted the necessary points creating a decent start but nowhere near done.  I'd like to take a bit of time and see where this piece could end up.

 Another focal point with her waist.  Was enjoying the shadows at play in this pose.

Turn, turn, turn

 Well, she's still upright.  It's just a different view.  I was fairly happy with the technique even if the "finished" drawing ain't all that.

 Limited time, limited focus.  I really liked that triangular negative space created by her right arm and her waist.

 Here gesture poses are divine.  Wish they were longer for better drawings but it gets the blood flowing...

A little more attention should have bee paid to her head but I just don't seem to manage my time as well as I used to.

Cheeky

 Such a tough angle with our model draped over a chair and pillow.  The large areas were easy enough but getting the back and especially the scapulas were harder to render well enough to be believable.

Oooooh... Scapulas!

 Something very intriguing and fun when I get to draw the scapula.  Almost architectural with the lines and they cast such interesting shadows.

Trying to create a believable leg

 Love the shadows that her right leg was casting.  Wish I could have gotten a bit (lot) further with this, though.

It's been awhile, but Ashleigh returns

 Gestures of Ashleigh.  A great life model who moves effortlessly between poses and seems to have the entire session planned out in her head.  Fun to draw and work with.

 Long pose that wasn't particularly successful.  I should either draw a bit smaller or get bigger paper, she looks pretty cramped in there.

 This was from the first session after over a year off.  About the only one I wasn't mortified with.
