Partial sketch

 I had enough time to get further than I did so I should have gotten her face in there.  I think I spent too much time on the shadow covering her neck.

The ever fascinating knee...

 ... at least to me.  The hand, however, I just struggled with.  I couldn't discern enough through the tattoo on the top of the model's hand and it made it difficult to find the anchor points I need.  Alas, it just didn't come together.

Pieces of Lady S

 Really, just a foot study.  If you struggle with the foot and ankle I say just dive in and draw them as often as you can.  There is so much to delve into and when a good sketch appears it is immensely satisfying.  Give it a go.

One minute sketchs of Lady S

 We opted for only five last Thursday, so we could get to some longer drawings.  However, that last gesture pose would have been a marvelous figure study.

Finally, a proper drawing

So much about this pose that was fun to draw.  I'm happy with the likeness, love the right leg and how her torso feels like it sinks into the drapery.  I hope to get back to this one and finish the arms and her right hand.  Pretty happy, overall.

Proper shadows

 This one was coming along nicely and I was slowly placing the shadows, intending to build them up gradually.  Time conspired to make that a less than optimal plan.  Still, this is a solid start that I hope to finish.

Seated

 This one really only barely got started.  I thought I had the lighting better with stronger shadows.  If this had been a longer pose I would have adjusted them further but I don't like to mess with the lights for myself when it may throw off someone else's drawing.  So I end up with a "what if" drawing.
