Heavy strokes and dark shadows

This pose was all about the heavy shadow cast over her torso.  As I kept working this it just kept getting darker and more sculpted.  A fun exercise.

A lot of great planes to works with and so little time.  The lighting really brought out some interesting shadows, almost to the point of losing sight of the figure in place of having fun with abstract shapes.  Almost...

Exploration

Trying to get used to the new model and I started using larger strokes to get shapes rather than anything unique to her.  I like the result, fairly abstract and yet recognizable.
