I'm sort of partial to this one.  Some nice stuff going on here with the shadows and various forms.

From a gesture

Sara took a terrific gesture pose and we had her recreate it for a five minute sketch.  Would really have enjoyed a much longer version of this.  Ah, well...

Probably my best likeness of the night.  I'll have to make sure I'm not being lazy tonight.

Pensive

Very expressive face in this one.  Even if I went a bit far with the nose.

Will wonders never cease?

Straighten up your drawing board and PRESTO!, all of a sudden proportions come into line a bit better.

A bit odd

I realized at the break that my board was angled very poorly for me and I was getting some odd drawings.  This is the least offensive of them before I righted the board.  The next three show a bit better.

Gestures of Tyson

Not my best evening.  I really didn't get warmed up until the last three drawings.  These things happen.

Last of the night

I like the simplicity of this pose and even though I knocked in the face at the last second I am pretty pleased with how this turned out.  Sara always does a solid job and makes it easy to get good drawings done.

Layers

Loved this pose!  The drapery framing the left arm as it rests on the arm of the chair.  The angle of her body tilting to her right and her head tilting against that pull.  Lots of depth to this pose.  It was fun to draw and I would like to do so again.

Seated

Nice pose that gave me the opportunity to explore the shoulder mechanism.  I've begun wishing that these poses lasted longer.  I suppose I could make that a reality...

A bit of a pinup pose

This came out sort of playful in tone.  Might be nice to do a longer version of this one.  I like the tilt of her head and the positioning of her right arm.

Miss Sara returns

Gestures of one of our longtime favorites.  Great job, Sara.

Flow

I like how the pony tail leads the eye back into the face.  So many planes following the angle of her hair; the cheek, the eyebrow and the eye lid.  Nice symmetry, made it fun to draw.

Britain takes a break and lies down on the job.

Another five minute sketch

Could have used another five minutes.  I was really enjoying this one.

First of the night

Britain has a great face to draw and I seem to get stuck drawing just that.  This was the first five minute sketch of the evening.

Gestures from Britain

We only did five minutes of gestures last night so we could get at least one more drawing in.

My favorite

Mostly because it reminds me of one of my favorite Jeffrey Jones images.  One day I'll have to post it.  In the meantime, this is mine and I had a lot of fun drawing it.

Dark Shadows

Loved the deep shadows and the cast shadow with this pose.  This was fun to draw and I wish it had been longer.

Simple sketch

The first drawing of the evening done in five minutes.  It was based on one of the gesture poses.  I liked the shadows cast by Amber's shoulder blades and the simple shapes created by placing her arms on the wall in front of her.
