Long pose...

 ...with very little to show for it.  I'm not sure what bugs me about this one but it just doesn't work for me.  I often rely on having a pretty solid drawing if I spend 40 minutes or so on it.  This one I don't think I can even begin to salvage at the studio drawing table.  Disappointing and a lost opportunity.

 Ham handed handling of this.  Not sure where I was headed with this sketch.

Sadly, these are the high points of my drawings for this session.  I just couldn't get into gear, it seems.  I will still post my abject failures,however.  Public humiliation is a great motivator...

The long pose

 I am not sure if I want to finish this up in the studio or leave it alone.  Pretty happy with it the way is sits.

Contour sketch

 I usually don't waste good poses on this type of drawing.  Single line  for five minutes.

Take a knee

 Simple big shapes.  Just a study for the sake of drawing simple big shapes.

Miss P seated

 Sketchy, sketchy.  Looking forward to finishing this.

Gestures of Miss P

 Back in the studio with the wondrous Miss P.  A good group as we are starting to ramp up to being back on schedule and I couldn't be happier.  Well, I could but someone won the MegaMillions lottery so...

Head and everything

 Long pose.  Better.  Still not getting as much done as I want (see: used to, as in 'when I was younger').

Does this model even have a head?

 Of course Lady S has a noggin, I just don't have enough time in many instances to get to it properly.  Perhaps I should plan ahead better.

A little progress

 Conté makes everything better.  I don't know why, it just feels like it has more oomph (such a technical term) to it.  Oh, sure, the sketchy is, well, sketchy.  But it feels better... a bit.

Another rough start

 Things smoothed out after this effort.  I hope to go back to this as I liked the pose. 

Three weeks of rust ain't easy to shake

 Gestures of Lady S.  A good turnout on a hot summer night.  Lady S did her usual wonderful job.  I don't think I got into the rhythm until the second half of the evening.  <sigh>  Oh, well, it looks like we might be rounding out of this summer schedule and can get back to a solid weekly meeting again.
