 First attempt to capture Miss P.  I always have a bit of trouble with new models as I tend not to see the big picture and try and capture the little nuances.  Miss P was fun to draw and I think I finally got it by the end.  Tune in and see if you agree.

The long pose

 I love getting into the longer poses.  Sometimes they are frustrating and I'm just spinning my wheels, but when I'm in a good place in my head I can really enjoy the process.  The finish?  Not that important compared to just doing what I love.

 This was coming along nicely until... yep, the clock struck 8.  Break time.  Alas, the story of many of my drawings.

 A quick study of Lady B kneeling.  Great mass.  So many fun shapes to work with.

Anyhow, this sketch has some good and some... not so good to it.  This was a pose that should have been at least five minutes longer.

Back at it... finally!

 

Gestures of Miss B.  We had a great group (14 artists) to get back into the groove after a long layoff (7 weeks) and it sure felt good to be drawing the figure again.  This was fun even if I felt a bit rusty.  I'll let y'all be the judge as I post the rest of these over the next few days.
