A more complete effort

 A slow and steady revisit to this one could really turn out something worthwhile.

Left shoulder

 Just not enough time to really get into this one.  A good enough start to maybe get back into it.  Finish the face and forearm might make this a bit better drawing.

Little quick back study

 Not much to look at but an enjoyable exercise in shading and modeling a bit of muscle.

Gestures of Lady P

 Although she was feeling 100%, Lady P still came through for our group and we thank her for it.  These are the gestures from the first ten minutes.

Two of the same

 Wasn't happy with how the first one was coming out so I switched and made more careful observations.  45 minute pose.

Lively lines

 I really like this one.  Probably my favorite of the session just for the life that seems to course through it.

Cartoon-like rendering

 This pose was a bit complicated when you don't know how long it'll last.  Made for a much more energetic sketch than usual.  I like it.

We did something a bit different this past week

 We let the model determine the length of the pose.  He broke when he felt like it and rolled right into a new pose.  A fun exercise, for sure.

Gestures from a fun night of drawing

 Mr. M gave us a pretty fun and challenging night of poses to work with.  He took some very strenuous and intriguing poses.  We changed things up for the poses that followed.  I'll explain Monday. 

At least I got one I liked

 For what it's worth, this one makes me happy.

I was enjoying this.  Needed about twice as much time to really make sumpin' of this.

The long pose

 Do you ever just keep plowing ahead on a lost cause?  This is one of my lost causes.

Red conté sketch

 Little sketch that had a long way to go.  I like the cast shadow, that's about it.

 We only had 5 poses for gestures Thursday night.  Straight to the good stuff.

 Probably the best drawing of the night.  Very dynamic.

 This was my favorite sketch, just a simple back pose.  Sometimes the simple stuff  is just the best.

 The longer pose.  This just didn't really end up the way I wanted.  Not sure what's wrong as all of the separate aspects seem correct, it just doesn't pull together the right way in my eyes.

 M really takes some wonderful poses.  They don't show real well here but he pushes the limits for the gestures.
