Gestures from our delayed session

It took an extra week to get to but we finally had our session and these are the gestures from said session.
 

Finally!

 A drawing I'm happy with.  With a bit more time and getting my head in the right space I finally drew something worth a spit. 

A little heavy handed with this one

 This one got away from me right from the start.  I should have switched up materials and started over.  Instead I just bulled ahead and I regret it.

A study in shadow

 Another exercise.  Just picking out the big shaded shapes.

 This drawing really is just an exercise in mass  No intention of it becoming a drawing that served any more purpose than to explore abstract shapes.
