Sway
I'd love to delve deeper into this but on the other hand I really like it as is. Not sure adding much more would help this as an image or not. Depends on what I would ultimately like this to be. Kinda fun having options.

Quick head study
Adrianna has an intriguing face that is a blast to draw. Not enough time to really get into this one but I had fun.

Update:
Doodled around with this while I waited for the rest of the group came in.

New model
Skipping the gestures this week and going for the better stuff. This was the longest pose of the evening yet it didn't yield that good of a drawing. There were a few that I liked well enough that will get posted over the week. Have a great weekend everyone.

Just chillin'
I like where this was going. Still don't think I was hitting on all cylinders but looking these over it seems it wasn't as much of a disaster of a drawing session as I thought while I was going through it.

A bit o' movement
When I started this drawing the head was basically as you see it. However, the model moved to the point where the neck is nowhere near where the head was at the start, same for the hair and to a degree his ear. The shadows had moved by the time I got into the finer bits of the drawing. I am disappointed in the finished image because I really liked the starting point. Alas, the hazards of life drawing.

5 minute drawings
Wasn't really feeling all that good about my drawings last night so I just put all three poses on one sheet.

Something different
Did this Saturday for our store's Halloween look. 30 x 40 charcoal on canvas. This is a fun surface to work on and it really makes me accept the lack of crisp detail that I normally would want to put into something like this.

Lady B makes a brief reappearance
Loved working on this model's hair. I would get into my Barry Windsor-Smith mindset when I got to draw Lady B.

Miss Molly from the archives
Stilling dredging up unposted images. I like the light play on this one. Obviously ran out of time like I so often do.

Great light & shadow at play
I had a blast with this one and truly could have worked on this for a lot longer. The strong highlight and the great turn of the shadows made this a really interesting pose to work with.

Favorite pose of the night
Not my favorite drawing, though. I made the mistake of leaving the studio without my charcoal pencils and rest of my materials. It was a challenge to make the few found charcoal stubs work. I chose to give it a try and, eventually, got it to work somewhat. I would love to have used a nice pencil for this pose but that wasn't in the cards.
