Still not in the game

Simple figure but but a bit more work on the head and face.  Been away too long, not getting far enough along in the time allotted.  It gets better.

Rusty... too much time away

Back to the drawings.  Took the first hour to get back into the swing.  Think I got a couple that aren't too bad.  I'll leave that up to your judgement.

All knees and elbow

The human form is an endless subject for inspiration.  I often wish I wanted to paint landscapes or still lifes but I'm only truly interested in the figure.  However, wildlife often falls into this category.  It must be musculature and bones and the way they sit in space.  Who knows?

From a couple of weeks ago

One of the last ones before my vacation.  Lots of stuff to draw, but not all of it drawn.  Story most often told on this blog.  Still, I like it.

Back to work

Had a little family shindig to attend.  Now I'm back to posting some of the older pieces I keep in reserve for when I'm not able to attend the session.  This is Cally, looking about as rested as I feel.  I started to render the face and ran out of time (as usual) but this pose really could have turned out to be quite special.  Too bad.

Taking a few days off

I'll be back in a couple days.  Need to recharge my batteries.
