Gettin' started

I was pretty happy with the face I rendered with this early pose.  Only five minutes so not a lot of time to really get into it which is why I am pleased with how well her face turned out.  Simple and not a lot of extraneous details.

Still getting used to using conté and got a bit heavy on some of the features.  Still, I like this one well enough.

More conté goodness

I love using the broad side of a conté crayon and the texture it leaves as I drag it across the paper.

Conté

I love using conté crayons.  A friend got me a box of old conté and I am finally getting around to using them.  I used a better grade of paper for this and wish I hadn't.  I was having better luck with my bond paper.
