Final sketch of the evening.  Would like to have had more time with this one but pretty happy with what I got done.

... and just getting a feel for the model.  It was good to get Lady L back in the fold but it still takes a bit of time to step away from the person posing and getting down to just being a mannequin (of sorts).

Thanks to Mr. D for stepping in after our model didn't show up.  We got a late start so we cut down on our gestures.  I probably could have used more warm up but that really wouldn't have knocked off that much more rust that has built up over the last month.

Amber was always so relaxed and her poses reflected how comfortable she was with our group.  That always helps with the sketch (at least for me) as I feel more able to concentrate on the act of drawing and less on how best I can help the model feel more at ease.

Due to the frigid temperatures I decided to delay our life drawing sessions another week.  I don't want anyone getting caught in a bad and unnecessary situation.  So I will be posting some images of Amber, one of my favorite models from a few years back.  I hope no one minds.
