Lines and smudges

 The long pose.  I really enjoyed this one and loved the shapes and edges.  Took some time and did only a partial figure.  However, very satisfying.

Just a cast shadow

 Just a little doodle... er, serious study.

Why... so... serious?!

 It may have something to do with having to hold this pose for 15 minutes.

 Page o' sketches.

Long pose...

 ...best pose.  I had fun with this.  It must have been a bit of an uncomfortable pose as Lady S moved a few times.  This threw off some of the proportions and angles as the pose progressed.  Still, fairly happy with this one.

A bit better

 More with the sanguine pencil.  This one was coming together much better.  Still, needs a lot of work to make this a viable finished piece.

Not real happy with how this worked out but I like where the face was going.  This needs a lot of work to pull it together.

The Saturday session

Too much information for me to get down on paper in about 90 minutes of drawing time.  I like some stuff, some of it I'm just not happy with.  That's the way the conté crumbles...
 

Charcoal abstract

 Little 5 minute sketch exploring forms and shadows.  Abstraction is always an accident for me.  Not in my nature.
