Standing

Sometimes the simplest forms are some of the most difficult.  It would be so tempting to just render the buttocks as a couple of globes and shade them accordingly.  But the musculature really challenges the artist to get it right.

Britain's eyes

I really like the rendering of Britain's face, especially her eyes.  Simple but effective.

A study in shapes

Britain's physique presents the artist with some great challenges in presenting how shapes relate to each other and how to create mass with just two dimensions.  She is definitely fun to draw.

Dainty little hand

Got caught up in the intricacies of her hand.  Loved the scarf draped as well.  Just not enough time to get to her face.  Common problem with my sketches, unfortunately.

Britain lost in thought... or wondering what the heck she was doing up on that stage.

Back with Britain

Took a bit of time off to see what's what and where I want to go.  Got some ideas and they may take me in a slightly different direction.  Very curious to see what develops in the next few months.  Lot's of projects that I want to tackle.  Hoping it's not an art "Bucket List"...

Takin' a break
