An idea I'm trying to work through for a Luke Skywalker drawing.

Finally
Feels good to finally put this one to rest. I relented and finished this off with digital textures and stock photos (flames). Although this changed a lot from my initial concept I really am happy with how it turned out. 2018 is the 50th anniversary of the film's release.

A couple of Star Wars cards
Back when I was doing the trading card thing. Really wish there had been a TOS Star Trek card series I could have worked on. Or Blade Runner. Or James Bond. Star Wars is just so over done. Still, I liked a lot of what I knocked out even though I kept it as a "sketch" rather than so many of the really finished ones that many of the artists were (and still are) putting out.

More from the cellar

Spent the better part of the morning loading furniture for a Canadian client. Glad that's over. (knock on wood). Here's another Topps image. There may be one or more or even all of them used before. Sue me. I'll be back to the norm on Friday (I hope).

Double Feature

These images are from way back, about 1987 - 88. The Nightmare on Elm Street painting was done as a wrap around cover for a sticker book published by Comic Images. Next weekend I will post a couple of the spot illustrations I did for the series. The Kenobi painting was just for me.
